# AWS

> Connect AWS so Indent can query resources, CloudWatch logs, and infrastructure.

Connecting AWS gives Indent access to your AWS resources, CloudWatch logs, and infrastructure — useful during incident investigations, debugging, and infrastructure tasks.

## Connecting AWS

1. Open [Settings > Integrations](https://app.indent.com/settings/services).
2. Find AWS and click `Connect`.
3. Enter your IAM access key ID, secret access key, and optionally a default region (e.g., `us-east-1`).

Use an IAM user with read-only permissions scoped to the resources Indent should have access to. You can test the connection before saving.
