# Working with Indent

The everyday tasks you hand Indent: writing code, querying data, investigating incidents, and
getting good results.

- **Writing code** — Hand Indent a coding task and it goes from prompt to pull request, then keeps working through
review and CI.
- **Reviewing pull requests** — Indent reviews pull requests, posts findings on GitHub, and works with you in the comments to
get them ready to merge.
- **Querying and analyzing data** — Ask questions in plain language and Indent writes read-only queries, returns downloadable
results and charts, and writes up findings.
- **Investigating incidents** — Indent pulls context across logs, traces, errors, and data to root-cause a production issue and
carry it to a fix.
- **Getting good results from Indent** — Frame tasks well, give the right context, and set Indent up to get better at your work over
time.
- **Troubleshooting** — What to do when Indent is stuck, takes a wrong approach, hits failing checks, suspends a
session, or lacks access.
