Custom MCPs let you connect Indent to tools that don’t have a built-in integration — internal APIs, documentation systems, ticket trackers, or anything your team exposes through an MCP server.

Adding a custom MCP server

  1. Open Settings > Integrations.
  2. Under Custom MCPs, click Add custom MCP server.
  3. Enter the server URL and choose how it authenticates: None, OAuth, or API key.
  4. Save it, then enable it for the sessions that should use it.
If the server needs extra context, add a short custom prompt so Indent knows when and how to use it. Custom MCP servers configured in Settings > Integrations
